— ABOUT

My work focuses on how we can better leverage health data, evidence, and emerging technology to reimagine healthcare, solve persistent challenges, and measurably improve population health.

I lead Population Health & Informatics at the University of New Mexico’s Center for Health Policy, where I work with government, healthcare leaders, and researchers to understand where people are falling through the cracks, answer difficult questions with data and evidence, inform better policy and program decisions, and determine what’s working, for whom, and at what cost. My work draws on health and claims data, applied health services research, program and policy evaluation, and the data infrastructure needed to make that possible.

I’m also helping build New Mexico’s health technology and innovation ecosystem, bringing healthcare, government, researchers, and innovators together to imagine new possibilities for how healthcare is delivered and experienced—and to develop, test, and move promising technologies and models toward real-world implementation.

My perspective is shaped by 15+ years leading data, analytics, and informatics across Medicaid, managed care, and healthcare delivery; co-founding a healthcare analytics company acquired in 2021; and doctoral scholarship in Health Equity Sciences at UNM’s College of Population Health.
